Connexion Fully Open Silent Check Valve Connexion Cast Iron and 316 Stainless Steel silent check valves are used on vertical pipelines or fluid pipe with pressure. The valve, with restoring back pressure will be close at suitable speed when pump is shut down to separate the inertia fluid (positive pressure) from the back flow (negative pressure) caused by pump shutdown hence preventing the noise and damage caused by the impact of positive and negative pressure. The silent check valve plays an important role on piping, especially applied on the outlet of the pump. The Connexion silent check valve applied on the outlet of the pump should be selected and will resist the highest pressure, the largest water hammer effect and the biggest fluid impact. If a check valve is not good enough or when a check valve is damaged, it will allow fluid back flow, pressure loss or more seriously damaged parts falling back in to the pump blades.

The special design of the up-side-down "V" sealing of the full open silent check valve can offer the best closedown performance when the valve is close (as shown on the figure). When the fluid pressure is low , the sharp end of the up-side-down "V" sealing will double-close down on the seat.
