Connexion Pressure Relief Valve

Connexion Range of Cast Iron, Epoxy Coated Ductile Iron, Bronze and 316 Stainless Steel Pressure relief valves are installed on the outlet side of the water supply pipeline or in the by-pass of the pipework to be protected. It can maintain safe water supply pressure inside the pipe and protects against the excess of pressure in the installation.

When a water pump stops functioning or a pipeline control valve closes, abnormal pressure waves form inside the pipe. The main valve is controlled by a Stainless steel external controller which can accurately control the main valve. As the pressure gets over a certain safety limit, the pressure relief valve can open automatically releasing the water pressure above the safety limit, so as to ensure the safety of pipeline and equipment. When the pressure comes back within the safety limit the pressure relief will slowly close.

Utilization State of Pressure Relief Valve
When water pressure inside the pipeline becomes greater than the specified outlet pressure, the pressure relief pilot valve opens and simultaneously releases the pressure in the pressure chamber. At this time, the main valve piston is pushed open and keeps the main valve in open state.
When the pressure returns to the safety limit, the pilot valve closes simultaneously, pressure chamber in main valve recovers and main valve closes slowly. In this way the pressure inside the pipeline can be acurately maintained.

Pressure Adjusting Range
0.2 Bar to  4 Bar
3 Bar to 7 Bar

Special orders can be arranged for higher pressure adjustment range.
In the case of high pressure, valve body made by stainless steel is recommended.

Flow Rate media -water

Special order is needed for size over 14" or particular dimension.

Please refer to for valve body material, working pressure and flow.
